John and his team assure tight coordination of daily manufacturing needs to assure timely delivery of customer orders. This includes careful management of staff needs to ensure the ActiTech staff are not only available for the flow of daily production, but also are kept consistently trained in quality control and safety standards.
John enjoys collaboration opportunities with customers, as well as with representatives of client Purchasing, Planning, and Marketing departments, to aid in new product development and mutually intriguing business opportunities.
It’s said the ActiTech facility in Sherman, TX was actually built around John! John worked at the original tenants of the ActiTech building, Johnson & Johnson Wound Management. John served with J&J for 20+ years in Manufacturing, Quality, and as Technical Services Manager until the facility was decommissioned. John joined ActiTech a few years later in 2005.
John‘s education and professional highlights include:
- A Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Southeastern Oklahoma State University (1984)
- Green Belt – Process Excellence (Six Sigma) Training
- Graduate of Quality Compliance Services Validation Workshop
- Member – American Society for Quality
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
John expresses that it’s not everyday a person is given the chance to facilitate and manage the start up of a new company. He adds there is a sense of gratification being part of the physical and financial growth of a pilot business and seeing your management ideology at work.
